[Image taken 26.4.22] Stirling Road, York. The road markings, including for the advisory cycle lanes, have been repainted. The offroad cycle lanes around the residential and retail areas of Clifton Moor are absent on Stirling Road and through the industrial estates. Where are are cycle lanes they are advisory and narrow - they do not meet current standards. The road surface in some places is damaged. Driving speeds can be high as some routes are rat runs.
